István Hegedűs made a presentation entitled Development of the Media Sphere under and after the Collapse of Communism for the Chinese delegation participating at the media law training project of the University of Oxford in Brussels on 5 September 2012.
In Britain, the campaign of the European Citizens' Initiative for Media Pluralism started on 21 March 2013. István Hegedűs represented the coalition of Hungarian NGO-s at the event in the House of Lords.
